Herb Green and hills and valleys
[page 112, line 10]
Herb in voir dire would ask everyone many times, you know, “Do you live on a hill, or do you live in a valley?” Herb’s idea was if you lived on a hill, you’re always looking down on people. You know, you’re not going to be a very good juror because you’re looking down on your fellow human beings. Whereas if you lived in the valley and you’re looking up, you know, you’re the common man. That’s the type person that Herb would want.
